The Wavelengths Explained

The Wavelengths Explained

Red and Near-Infrared Light Therapy Benefits

The Rouge panels emit 8 specific wavelengths (630nm, 650nm, 660nm, 670nm, 810nm, 830nm, 850nm, 1060nm) that can be classified into two categories: red light (600-700nm) and near-infrared (NIR) light (800-1100nm). Red light is visible and works primarily on skin surfaces (1-2mm penetration), while NIR light penetrates deeper (up to several centimeters) to reach muscles, joints, and other tissues. The G4 series combines both spectrums to deliver comprehensive benefits from surface-level skin improvements to deep tissue healing.
Wavelength Visual Overview

Red Light Wavelengths

630nm

Targets surface tissues like the epidermis. Ideal for reducing inflammation, enhancing collagen production, and treating acne, fine lines, and wrinkles. Benefits skin health by reducing redness and supporting anti-aging processes.

650nm

Penetrates to the dermal layer, affecting hair follicles and deeper skin structures. Promotes healing and regeneration, enhances circulation, and supports scalp treatments for hair growth. Improves skin tone and surface wound healing.

660nm

Reaches further into the dermal layer than 650nm. Effective for muscle recovery, reducing joint inflammation, and accelerating healing in deeper tissues. Also benefits skin health by boosting collagen and reducing inflammation.

670nm

Penetrates about 5mm into tissue, affecting both skin and muscle layers. Enhances cellular energy production deeper below the surface. Helps with muscle soreness and promotes healing in joint tissue.

Near-Infrared Wavelengths

810nm

Reaches soft tissue, muscle, and even bone. Effective for musculoskeletal pain and joint issues. Commonly used for wound healing and skin rejuvenation due to its moderate tissue penetration.

830nm

Penetrates to tendons, ligaments, and deeper muscles. Enhances cellular oxygenation and blood flow. Particularly beneficial for tendinitis or arthritis and other deep inflammatory conditions.

850nm

Known for deep penetration into muscle and joint tissues. Stimulates mitochondrial activity, boosting cellular energy. Effective for pain management, chronic inflammation, and deeper tissue repair.

1060nm - Advanced Wavelength Technology

Penetrates 4-5cm beneath the skin, reaching muscles and fat layers. Enhances blood flow and has unique interactions with tissue. Used in body contouring and targeted fat reduction therapies due to its deep penetration and water molecule absorption.
